Ratios – staff to children
We adhere to the required staffing ratios outlined within the Early Years Statutory Framework which are as follows: -
Children aged 0 to 2 years - 1 member of staff to every 3 children
Children aged 2 to 3 years - 1 member of staff to every 4 children
Children aged 3 to 5 years - 1 member of staff to every 8 children
Each playroom has a designated Room Supervisor who oversees the running of the playroom daily and is supported by a team of early years practitioners. We aim to ensure staff are based in the same room and do not rotate around the nursery to ensure continuity of care for the children.
