From den building and nature hunts to large-scale painting, sand play and water exploration, our outdoor environment encourages hands on discovery and imaginative play. Children have the freedom to move, build, investigate and collaborate, supporting the development of gross motor skills, problem solving and teamwork in a natural, engaging setting.

We believe there is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing! With waterproof trousers provided and support from families to dress appropriately for the seasons, children can enjoy the benefits of outdoor play in all weathers.

Beyond our garden, we regularly venture into the local village and surrounding community. These real world experiences, from visiting shops and parks to observing seasonal changes help deepen children’s understanding of their environment and strengthen their connection to the world around them.
