Parents as Partners

​ Working in partnership with our parents and carers is essential to our work. You know your child the best and we are keen to share in that knowledge.
We recommend your child attends settling in sessions prior to starting at Nursery Rhymes, as this allows both of you to gradually build up to longer periods of absence, and for your child to feel happy and comfortable within the nursery.
During your child’s settling in sessions the Room Supervisor will spend time with you completing an ‘All About Me’ booklet to enable us to discuss your child’s individual routines and requirements.
The nursery actively welcomes parents as partners in a variety of ways within the nursery which helps to develop a positive relationship for all involved through a two-way sharing of information.
We believe that children benefit the most when parents and staff work together in partnership to provide care and learning for your children.
