My son is in Y6 and has attended Jabberwocky Club since starting Reception at Addingham Primary. It was clear from our first visit that this is a really special setting, and it has always been a place he loves to attend. Everyone who works here is calm, kind and nurturing. I'm always struck by the variety of activities on offer across the room / outdoors when I collect him each night, from the quiet reading nook to crafts, games and baking to large-scale building in the carpet area. There's something for every child and plenty of opportunity to develop new interests and skills. We will look back on his time at Jabberwocky Club with affection and gratitude - it has been a really lovely part of his childhood and I wish the team here every success in the future.

As a family, we have 4 children at Nursery Rhymes and have experienced every room in the nursery. We could not be more impressed with the standard of care, compassion and imagination shown by the staff. They put child learning and experience at the fore front of their care. Their learning is guided by child interests, current topics and interests. They utilise the surrounding area for outdoor learning and outdoor play as often as possible. The feedback to parents is very regular and thorough in a formalised process, but the daily feedback is detailed and friendly enough that I know the staff have really taken time to focus on my child throughout the day and they know them! The food is very varied and nutritionally balanced with children given lots of chances to participate in baking and prepping food, which they always love! Overall we are so impressed with Nursery Rhymes, the staff are so well qualified, they are so approachable and friendly and really provide the best environment of care for babies right through to school age children. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our two children, have attended this setting from baby room and throughout their time have been in the care of the most compassionate, understanding, patient, committed and enthusiastic staff it is possible to meet. At drop off and pick up times, which are invariably busy, staff always make time to discuss the wellbeing of our two, and to discuss the activities the day, meals and how the kids' day has gone.
Jabberwocky Club can best be described as a hive of activity, and our two children really enjoy engaging with a range of activities, be it games, crafts or baking. Most days our kids recount with great enthusiasm what they did at Jabbers, and I know that whatever the day's activities were, they will have been overseen and undertaken by staff who are committed to the wellbeing, safety and enjoyment of all the children in their care.

Choosing this setting for her childcare was undoubtedly one of the best decisions I have ever made. Constance first started in nursery at 9 months old. She has attended ever since, and this summer will be her last time in Jabberwocky Club as she is due to attend high school in September.I cannot express how fantastic this place is. She has literally grown up surrounded by a team of staff who never falter in their care for young children. I think it’s testament to all that the same staff that she started out with almost 10 years ago with are still there now. It just proves what an amazing place this really is. My daughter is a lovely, sociable, wonderfully confident and a very articulate young lady, and I put most of this down to her time at Nursery Rhymes and Jabberwocky Club. She has learnt so much, crafted so much and played so much and made many friends along the way, not least with some of the adults who have cared for her. Come September she will be at a loss when it comes to school holidays. She loves this place so much that she has even asked if she can become a volunteer and come back to help out with the young children in her own time. She pulls a face and chastises me every time I pick her up, and tells me off for collecting her too early. This tells you all you need to know. Quite simply, this childcare setting is an amazing place.

For me the staff are what sets this setting apart. They make genuine connections with both the children and parents and clearly go above and beyond every day. The way they have bonded with our child is miles apart from other settings we have been part of (both here in the UK and during our time in Australia)Our child's activities and days are always varied and well planned. Her learning and development has made significant improvements since attending and I really appreciate the two way communication on this with the staff so we are aligned on focus areas. From a more operational perspective I have always found it very easy to contact management and have any queries answered promptly. Our child is so happy and settled here and this for me is the greatest reflection of the great standards and level of effort and care that is so clearly given at Nursery Rhymes

Our little one has been in the baby room for a few months and I have found the team to be exceptional. They’ve all shown great care and professionalism settling my baby into the setting, getting to know her and what she responds to.
I love that the team take the babies out for fresh air as often as possible. It’s such a great thing for the little ones to do. She also clearly enjoys the fresh cooked meals! She’s always smiling when I collect her, say at the table eating as much as she can with her friends.

Since we started looking at nurseries during my pregnancy we have been blown away by Nursery Rhymes leadership and staffing. As Designated Safeguarding Lead & senior leader at a local secondary school I wanted to find a provision which I knew would safeguard our son and provide him with the warmth, nurture and expertise to support his development. I met with Rachael and looked at the provision and was impressed by what she described - the package of care and key worker role sounded as if my little one would be known, his development tracked and supported but not pressured and we would be kept in the loop with his care.
He started nursery in September following a very comprehensive transition with taster hours, afternoons and we have been delighted every single day with the provision in place. The communication with parents is excellent and reassuring, the staff really know and understand our son’s needs and he is always happy, contented and very expressive when collected in the afternoon. I recommend Nursery Rhymes wholeheartedly to anyone looking for excellent, supportive and nurturing provision for their child.

"My little girl started Nursery Rhymes in July 2022; I was anxious about leaving her as she seemed so young to start but being self-
employed, I didn't have a choice. The way the lovely ladies were with me, and my baby was just incredible they understand how difficult it is and they really supported me and totally set my mind at ease. I was so surprised at how quickly my baby settled in and when I'd leave her there would be no tears (we even have tears sometimes when I leave a room at home) so now when I drop her off and quite happily leaves me is very heart warming. The setting is incredible, and it has so many activities and resources to keep all children entertained. I've had such a great experience with my baby that my older two are now booked into after-school club and they cannot wait until it's Jabberwocky Club days. My little girl has been so happy at Nursery Rhymes since she started in the baby room. When moving rooms, I felt we were both supported and if I had any questions or queries the staff were more than happy to talk me through them. I always feel really up to date with where my child is developmentally and having a daily diary is always really helpful. Jodie and the girls in Little Bo Peeps are always fantastic with the handover on an evening, I feel like I get to know everything she has done. Whenever I have had any concerns or information, I always feel they are taken on board and responded to quickly.

The staff at Nursery Rhymes are still as welcoming as they were when we first brought our eldest over 5 years ago. There is always something fun, exciting and new in the rooms when we walk in. We enjoy lots of regular updates from Facebook, Newsletters and daily handovers from the staff. They staff are always happy to listen to parents and trial what parents are doing at home i.e., potty training! The food the children receive always smells delicious when dropping off late and is all home cooked. I just want to say how fantastic this nursery is, with the most organized management and the most caring staff. We love it!

My children have attended Nursery Rhymes from age 2 years, and now are at The Jabberwocky Club. They really enjoy their time with the staff, who look after them brilliantly. The children complain about being collected to go home! I value Nursery Rhymes approach to safety, and communication with parents.

We love the staff at Nursery Rhymes and the girls do too! They are very friendly and provide great learning and experiences. The staff always give a good summary of the day. We love that it is the same staff looking after the girls and that both the girls have been looked after by the same staff with them being years apart. Everyone goes above and beyond to resolve any questions we have, and we like how professional and reliable the staff are with incidents, accidents and ensuring the forms are filled in. It really demonstrates that risk, care and safety is taken seriously.

The ladies that look after our two are fantastic. There is consistency within the team, and everyone genuinely cares about the children and the families, it shows in the excitement we see when we drop our children off. We receive lots of pictures of the kids enjoying their day and their boards are always full of pictures, activities and some of our family photos too. Both kids have had the best start and made friends for life at Nursery Rhymes.

My daughter attends Nursery Rhymes 2-3 days a week and absolutely loves it. The outdoor area is great, and she is regularly taken on walks to the park. The staff are amazing and make you feel like your little one is as precious to them as they are to you. The Nursery have been amazingly flexible when I've needed to change days here and there and will always help when they can. I know when I drop her off in the morning that she is well-looked after and will be doing something fun and exciting.

My son started at nursery rhymes when he was 3, all the staff have been fantastic, and he really showed progress with his learning and social interaction. He now goes to the after-school club and looks forward to the days he goes. I highly recommend it.

I have been a parent at Nursery Rhymes for over 7 years, the staff have cared for both my children extremely well. I always feel comfortable leaving my children knowing they are in safe hands. The feedback at the end of the day is always thorough and when we receive reports, we are always asked for views which provides me an opportunity to update the staff with any changes and areas I would like them to focus on with my child. Rachael has always been very flexible on requests to change days to fit in with my working pattern. Both my children now attend The Jabberwocky Club and ask to go more!
