​Learning Co-ordinator

​Effie joined the nursery team in 2019 to gain experience working within a day nursery and pre-school room after working within schools. In May 2020, Effie graduated Leeds Trinity University with a first-class (BA) Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies.

In September 2020, Effie begun studying a Masters Degree in Childhood and Education.

Throughout her time studying, Effie enjoyed learning about effective methods of planning and providing stimulating and challenging play experiences suited to individual children’s interests. She applies her knowledge and understanding of this within nursery to oversee development record keeping, assessments, planning documents and self-evaluation.

Effie is the setting’s Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and is responsible for the day to day operation of the setting’s Special Educational Needs and Inclusion policy.
